The American International Rattlesnake Museum
Learn more about snakes than you had ever imagined when you make your way to the American International Rattlesnake Museum. This is a great place that can be found right on 202 San Felipe Northwest in Albuquerque. Hundreds of people make a trip here every single year so that they can learn about all the different types of rattlesnakes with wonderful displays and live exhibits. Guests of all ages are welcome, so no matter who is in your family or charter bus group, you are all guaranteed to have a great time while looking and learning at this interesting museum.
When you visit, you will get chills as you get the chance to check out a number of live rattlesnakes that live in the museum. There plenty of varieties, including the Tiger Rattlesnake, Panamint Speckled Rattlesnake, Mottled Rock Rattlesnake, Banded Rock Rattlesnake and many others. With each different exhibit you can learn about each snake and what traits make them unique. You will even be able to check out the largest collection of snake related memorabilia in the world. Pictures, souvenirs, clothing, paintings, stamps and so much more can be found in this interesting exhibit.
The hours that you can stop by for your own visit to the American International Rattlesnake Museum are from 10:00AM until 6:00PM Monday through Saturday and from 12:00PM until 5:00PM on Sunday, with regular closings on all of the major national holidays. The cost of admission is only $3.50 for adults, $3 for senior citizens and $2.50 for children.
