If you are going to be in the San Antonio area, you should being the entire family by to visit the wonderful San Antonio Zoo. This is a wonderful place full of amazing animals and many interesting exhibits. Everything that you see at the San Antonio Zoo is sure to educate and entertain you under the Texas sky.
While you are at the zoo, you can many great exhibits such as Cranes of the World, Lory Landing, Amazonia, African Plains, Gibbon Forest and many more. There is also a huge variety of different birds, reptiles, mammals and amphibians that you can check out during your visit. See the Red Ruffed Lemur, the Sumatran Tiger, the Ostrich, the Black Wood Turtle and many more. Your entire family will have a wonderful time seeing and learning about all of the different animals that you will find at the zoo. Be sure and bring your camera so you can take some amazing pictures!
The San Antonio Zoo is open every single day of the year for your visiting convenience. The hours that you may stop by are 9:00 AM until 6:00 PM from Memorial Day through Labor Day and 9:00 AM until 5:00 PM from Labor Day through Memorial Day. Admission is only $8.00 for adults, $6 for seniors, $6 for kids ages 3 through 11, $4 for handicap ages 3 through 14, and $5 for handicap ages 15 and older. There is also a $1 off discount for military personnel and the parking is always free for absolutely everyone.
