When you visit the Charleston County Public Library, you will be amazed at all of the wonderful reading and informational materials that you can find on hand. Not only are there plenty of great books to browse through, there is even an art gallery on the premises. The Saul Alexander Foundation Gallery is located inside the main branch of the library. The Charleston County Public Library main location is at 68 Calhoun Street. The hours are Monday through Thursday from 9:00 am until 9:00 pm, Friday and Saturday from 9:00 am until 6:00 pm and Sunday from 2:00 pm until 5:00 pm. There are also several different branch locations as well as a traveling Bookmobile for your convenience.
