Allen County Museum is a great place to start your charter bus tour of Lima. There are exhibits ranging from Native American to Pioneer to Railroad displays. Next, take your charter bus to the Delphos Canal Commission Museum where your group can take in the canals and canal boat history.
To further learn the history of this great little town charter a stop by the Gomer Welsh Community Museum. It was established in the early 1800s as a center to celebrate Welsh culture.
Harrod Veterans Memorial Park is a great stop along the way for your charter bus excursion. Once there, The Veterans Memorial Park lies adjacent to the Railroad Heritage Park and displays a 155mm Howitzer Cannon, also featured is an anchor from the USS Texas Battleship, an M60 Battle Tank (now there's a photo opportunity), and a Huey Helicopter.
The park was created in honor and memory of all Veterans who served in the United States armed forces.
Lima Fire Fighters Memorial Museum is dedicated to those brave souls who not only currently serve their communities, but those who have fallen since 1865. This is a very interesting museum. Your charter bus group will be impressed with the displays of the various tributes and even some of the original fire fighting equipment is displayed.
