This is a wonderful place that is just loaded with really gorgeous botanical gardens and a slew of great fine art. The 55 acre complex is just the right thing to add nice memories to your visit of the Nashville area.
The botanical garden at Cheekwood is full of beautiful plants and perfect landscaping. You will also find yourself being soothed by the pools and fountains throughout the gardens as well. There are many lovely and colorful flowers on display and you can even take a walk through the Japanese garden. You can look through the mansion at Cheekwood to experience the Museum of Art. There is about 30,000 square feet of some of the best collections of paintings and sculptures that you have ever seen.
If you get a bit hungry during your visit to Cheekwood, you can stop by the Pineapple Room Restaurant for a nice meal. You can get your fill of soups, salads, quiche, salmon, burgers and more. Once you are done eating, you can also stop by the gift shop to pick up some unique gifts or souvenirs of your visit.
Admission prices for Cheekwood are $10 for adults, $8 for seniors, $5 for youth ages 3 through 13 as well as college students with proper identification, and children under three get in for free. Hours that you may stop by for a look are Tuesday through Saturday from 9:30 am until 4:30 pm and Sunday from 11:00 am until 4:30 pm. Cheekwood is closed on Mondays as well as all of the major national holidays.
