Durham Western Heritage Museum

In the Baright Home and Family Gallery, you will find replicas of a rawhide teepee, and an earth lodge. Many items that reflect the technology of that time and the comforts of home are featured within this exciting exhibit.
In the Bishop Clarkson Community Gallery, you will see the formation of the fine city over 100 years ago, and see topics including religion, immigration, and healthcare covered in this exhibit. The Bishop Clarkson Hospital, the Brandeis Building, and St Cecilia's Cathedral are just a few of the buildings that are represented in this exhibit. The rapid growth of this city is also represented within this exhibit.
