River Walk in San Antonio, Texas is known as one of the hottest entertainment destinations in the entire state. The San Antonio River is the basis for this great tourist attraction that brings in hundreds of people on a regular basis. There is always something to see as well as many fun things to do at River Walk.
There is never any fee to go to River Walk so it is quite a nice attraction that you can bring the entire family to see. You can even take a nice, relaxing boat ride during your visit to River Walk. For your convenience, there are several locations along the river that you can purchase tickets for the 35 minute narrated boat tour. Fares for the boat ride are really reasonable with it costing $6.50 for adults, $4.50 for seniors and active military, and $1.50 for children ages 1 through 5.
Since there is something to do for everyone, you can spend the entire day at River Walk with your family. There is lots of great shopping available where you can find just the right gift for just about anyone. To take a quick break from the shopping, you can sample some of the best eats that Texas has to offer. From time to time, you can even listen to a mariachi band playing some lovely songs to soothe your troubles away.
