The Fleischmann Planetarium and Science Center
Have you ever wondered how certain things within our universe works? There are all of the planets, the stars and beautiful constellations up above us all of the time. If you are going to be in Reno, you should make some plans to bring your group or family over to the amazing Fleischmann Planetarium and Science Center, located on 1600 North Virginia Street. This is an awesome public observatory and interesting science center at the University of Nevada where you can go to learn about all of the wonders of the universe.
On any given day, there are all sorts of wonderful star shows or different films that you can view at the Fleischmann Planetarium. Along with a good variety of special events, there are lovely exhibits that are just perfect when you are looking to learn a little bit more about the marvelous universe that is surrounding us. You can even head to the observatory, which is free to the public where you can enjoy a closer look at everything that seems to be so far away. Sometimes, there are even toddler mornings or other programs that are geared toward kids!
While you visit the Fleischmann Planetarium and Science Center, you can make your way into the museum area where you can catch a glimpse of models of the planets and learn more about each of them. There are also a few meteorites in a great collection that have been found across the state of Nevada. This is a wonderful Reno experience that you will not want to miss.
