The Fourth Ward School Museum

This is an incredibly interesting place where you can go to see as well as learn all about this school that actually opened up way back on November 28th, 1876. People of all ages, including the young and the old are sure to benefit greatly from a visit and a learning experience at this amazing historical building.
While you are enjoying your stop at the Fourth Ward School Museum, you will have a chance to visit a number of rooms within the facilities. Many of the rooms actually still hold the old furniture, school desks and other items that were used many, many years ago. For example, there is the Main Floor Classroom, which happens to be a very popular stop along many adventures throughout the school. This is an original classroom that dates back to the opening in 1876. Still within this classroom that seats up to fifty students, you will be able to see the old potbelly stove as well as many marks and scuffs on the wooden floor.
