There are many great courses for the golfer to enjoy in Omaha. Here are just a few of the best that Omaha has to offer.
The Quarry Oaks Golf club is located at 16600 Quarry Oaks Drive in Omaha. This is an eighteen-hole championship course, which measures 1,077 yards from the back tees. It is unrivaled in the Midwest for concept and design, and was ranked the number one course in Nebraska. The patrons of this club have access to the multi tiered practice range with target greens, a sand and chipping practice area, and a practice green. They also offer private and semi-private lessons.
The Eagle Run Golf Course is located at 132nd Street and Maple Street, in Douglas County. This Golf Complex has both the Meadows Course, and a Links Course. The Meadows course is a nine hole Par 3, and the Links course is a nine-hole executive course. The Westwood Heights Golf Club, located at 12929 West Center Road, is a short course. This is a nine hole, par 3 courses that total 1,246 yards, and is great for beginners. There is no driving range or electric carts available.
The Fontenelle Park Golf Course is a city course that features nine holes, and bent grass, with water in play. It is located at 4410 Fontenelle Boulevard. As with any small public course, there is no driving range or putting green. There is a clubhouse offering refreshments and snacks. The Pacific Springs Golf club is located at 16810 Harney Street, in Douglas County. Experienced golfers will find this par 70, eighteen hold course most challenging. The course features thick rough borders, narrow fairways, and natural water hazards, which add to the level of difficulty. Players may warm up at the driving range, or take a break in the clubhouse. There is also a complete eighteen hold, grass-putting course.
