Guilford Courthouse National Military Park
Make your way to a stop where you can learn about all that there is to know about the historic site of the Guilford Courthouse. This is the actual spot where a battle took place during the Revolutionary War back in 1781. Now, you can stop by to visit this lovely historical area and find out more about that famous battle and how the land and surrounding area has progressed. If you are traveling with a charter bus group, you are bound to find several people within the group who will love such a stop.
There are several foot trails that you can walk through and enjoy while you are visiting. In addition to that there is an interesting self-guiding automobile tour that you can take on your tour bus while listening to a CD or cassette that is fully narrated. There are also special events that take place when the anniversary of the battle comes about each year on March 15th. You are sure to find such a visit to be wildly entertaining and incredibly educational.
The hours that you can make your way to the Guilford Courthouse are from 8:30AM until 5:00PM every single day of the week with the exception of major national holidays.
