That is because this plantation house is actually known to be the oldest to be preserved in the United States that happens to be open to the public for viewing. You will not believe your eyes when you gaze upon this majestic 630-acre site in the heart of South Carolina. It is quite amazing to hear all about how this house has seen seven generations of the Drayton family throughout the years. This is an amazing Georgian-Palladian structure that sits on some of the most wonderful landscaping in the Low Country. The cost of admission to Drayton Hall is $12 for adults, $8 for youth ages 12 through 18, $6 for children ages 6 through 11 and free for children ages 5 and under.
