The Historic Starlight Ballroom
In order to truly appreciate all of the beauty and splendor of the Hershey, Pennsylvania area, it is very important that you learn all about the wonderful venues from the past that help make the town so majestic today. One absolutely gorgeous and amazing locations in the area that happens to stand with splendor and grace amongst the nostalgia and wonder of Hershey is the Starlight Ballroom.
If you have never been able to witness the magnificence of the Starlight Ballroom with your very own eyes, the chances are that you have heard stories about it in the past. During the earlier years, Milton S. Hershey constructed many different attractions and venues to add on to his marvelous vision that was to become Hershey, Pennsylvania, which included Hershey Park and several other great places. Between the years of 1913 and 1923, there was actually quite a bit of additions and construction going on all around the area of Hershey. This construction included the Hershey Zoo, Museum and the Park Cafe.
However, amongst all of the changes and fanfare, one wondrous construction that stands to be the most stunning would have to be the Starlight Ballroom. The Starlight Ballroom was a truly beautiful construction that was put in place to accommodate all of the up and coming talent in the famous big band era. This amazing dance pavilion, which was complete with a large stage and breathtaking dance floor, has gone down in history as one of the first original wonders in the Hershey area.
