Six Flags Kentucky Kingdom is a great vacation destination. Louisville-based Kentucky Kingdom offers amusement park rides and entertaining shows for all of your family members from toddler to grandparent. Thrill seekers enjoy Kentucky Kingdom's three roller coasters - the 4155 feet stand up Chang, the 15 foot free-falling Hellevator, and one of the tallest water rides in the Midwest - the tidal wave and waterfall splashing Mile High Falls.
Other frightful frolics include Twisted Sisters, a dual roller coaster that is actually two coasters in one that travel in blisteringly fast competitive frenzy. Kentucky Kingdom's Vampire is not for the faint of heart as it inverts its riders, taking them first in a forward direction and then backwards - changing directions three different times.
If you're much too meek for any of the above, don't give up on Kentucky Kingdom. There's plenty for you as well, from the Zeppelin hot air balloon ride, to the casual musical carousel, and the Tin Lizzie country car ride.
Kids can have a great time at Kentucky Kingdom. The little ones can cavort and play dress up in the Looney Tunes Acme Prop Warehouse, can play Dukes of the Road in their very own mini monster truck, can rev up their Nascar-like motors on the Mini Speedway or Pounce and Bounce with Sylvester and Tweety.
The family can gather together for a little sit-down time at the theatrical presentation, Batman Thrill Spectacular. Full of pyrotechnics and acrobatic stunt performances by Batman and his cohorts The Joker and Vicki Vale, this Kentucky Kingdom show is guaranteed to keep you at the edge of your seat.
