There is even a great area called Desert Discovery where kids can actually become builders working with various construction items on their level. In addition to that, children also get to learn about the various animals who live in the desert as well as where they go to sleep when it gets dark at night.
In order to plan your visit, you should know that the Lied Discovery Children's Museum is open from 10:00AM until 5:00PM Tuesday through Sunday as well as any of the days that a school holiday happens to fall on. The cost of admission is only $7 for adults, $6 for senior citizens ages 55 and older, children and military personnel. Children under the age of 1 are always admitted to the museum for free.
