The Museum of Modern Art is Minneapolis' most appealing and well-known museum. It is here that artists from around the globe exhibit their talents. From insulation exhibits to gigantic wall art, this museum is a must for anyone with an interest in modern art. Offering floor after floor of galleries as well as entertainment concerts at night, this museum certainly deserves the title of modern.
Lastly, a trip to Minneapolis is incomplete without a sporting event. And where better to experience sport than at the Metrodome, which is home to the Twins. Minnesotans love their sports, so a packed house is definitely to have an electric feel. The large dome stadium has spectacular views of downtown from just outside the stadium, and if you are lucky to see a Twin victory, the stadium will erupt with large screams and great aura. This is surely a destination worth your while if sport is something that catches your eye.
