National Atomic Museum
Once you begin to explore all that Albuquerque has to offer, you will soon find that there are many more things to see and do than you had originally thought. One fantastic example can be found on 1905 Mountain Road and it is called the National Atomic Museum. This is a really cool place there you can go to learn all about the famous Manhattan Project and all of the stories and mystery surrounding it. Make sure that you take a little time to visit this attraction so that you can have a wonderful and unique learning experience.
During your visit you will be able to explore all kinds of exhibits relating to nuclear technology in the United States. Some displays include information on such famous names as Albert Einstein, Lise Meitner and Madame Marie Curie. Young children will also find a good time at Zoomtone, which is a great science area that they can learn and play in.
The place that the National Atomic Museum actually sits on is called Old Town Albuquerque. You can stop by for your very own visit during the hours of 9:00AM until 5:00PM seven days a week with the exception of all of the major national holidays. The cost of admission is only $5 for adults ages 18 through 59, $4 for senior citizens age 60 and older and children ages 6 through 17, while admission for children ages 5 and under is free.
