Nature Conservation Action In Boston

December 16, 2010 - Boston used to be covered with lush greenery, but thanks to extensive human manipulation and urban development, nature is almost naked in Boston. For a great time outdoors, our Boston charter bus rental customers said that they often had to travel outside of the city just to see lustrous greenery.
Did you know that there is an on-going program called the The Boston Urban Wilds Program that aims to protect parks and green pastures around the city? They aim to manage, maintain and protect the wild and natural areas in the city from any form of urban development.
Take, for example, Dell Avenue Rock. It's not a huge park or a place of 'real' significance but many people come here for the view and the smell of invigorating of maple, oak, cherry and birch trees permeate the air. A far cry from the kind of air we are getting downtown.
The program also offer its fierce protection against exploitation of Rivermoor III which is a marsh land along the Charles River. Other spots include Iroquois Woods, Canterbury I, Belle Isle Urban Wild and Nira Rock.
To see them all, you may need a good, reliable charter bus. US Coachways is here to provide you with top-of-the-line charter buses under our many Boston charter bus rental packages, give us a call to find out more.
