If you are looking for something fun and exciting to do when you are in Tennessee, you should try and schedule a visit to the Tennessee Aquarium and Imax 3D Theater. This is a great place with all sorts of different things to see and do. A visit to this aquarium is pretty much a perfect day that can be enjoyed by your whole entire family.
You can plan on your visit to the aquarium lasting about two hours if you are looking to see everything. There are two building that you get to look through, Ocean Journey and River Journey. Inside the Ocean Journey exhibit you will get a chance to see all kinds of sea life including eels, sharks, barracuda and many of the exotic and colorful fish. The River Journey experience lets you learn all about freshwater creatures such as giant catfish and lovely turtles.
There is something for everybody at the Tennessee Aquarium. Be sure that you bring along a camera so that you can capture all of the wonderful exhibits that you encounter. You should also make sure that you bring a bit of extra spending money so that you can stop by the gift shop for a bit of shopping.
The Tennessee Aquarium is located at One Broad Street in beautiful Chattanooga, Tennessee. The hours that you may stop by for a visit are from 10:00 am until 6:00 pm any day of the week. The only days that the aquarium closes down are on all of the major national holidays. Cost of admission is only $17.95 for adults and $9.50 for children ages 3 through 12 years.
