Plan a Visit to The Elisabet Ney Museum

Elisabet Ney Museum. This is a great place to visit that actually used to be the
former studio of the famous sculptor. The Elisabet Ney Museum is actually
one of the oldest museums located in Texas and has been enriching the minds
of many for years now.
In this museum that is dedicated to the memory of Elisabet Ney you will find
many wonderful sculptures of several great men from earlier Texas days. The
Texan sculptures are those such as large figures of Sam Houston and Stephen
F. Austin that actually stand to this day in both the national and state capitols.
Some of the other sculptures that Elizabet Ney is famous for include Jacob
Grimm, Giuseppe Garibaldi, King Ludwig II of Bavaria and King George V
of Hanover. The amount of talent that can be witnessed at this museum is just
amazing.
The Elizabet Ney Museum is a great place to visit with your entire family.
Both the young and old alike are fascinated by her works and enjoy looking
through this wonderful collection. On a regular basis, many school kids
actually visit the museum as a way of learning about the famous artist and
sculptor.
Admission to the Elisabet Ney Museum is always free to the public. The
hours that you may stop by are Wednesday through Saturday from 10:00 am
until 5:00 pm and Sunday from 12:00 noon until 5:00 pm. If you would like
