Rio Grande Zoo
A great place to go when you are looking to view amazing animals is the Rio Grande Zoo. This incredible place can be found as a part of the Albuquerque Biological Park. Many people make the trip to this zoo every single year so that they can see what is new and visit with some of the animals that they have grown to love. Everyone in your family or tour bus group is guaranteed to enjoy this magnificent attraction, so much so that you may even plan your next visit before you are even finished visiting for the day!
While you are at the zoo, you can check out just about any type of animal that you could imagine. There are camels, orangutans, polar bears, jaguars and more. All of the exhibits are made to keep the animals comfortable and safe within a habitat that is just the like the one that they would live in out in the wild. While you are walking throughout the zoo, you may actually find yourself getting caught up in the surroundings and begin to actually feel as though you have been transported into the wild yourself!
The cost of admission to enter the Rio Grande Zoo is only $7 for adults, $3 for senior citizens and children, and free admission for children under the age of 3. The zoo is open every single day of the week from 9:00AM until 5:00PM. There are closings on all of the major national holidays. Be sure that you bring along your camera so you can take pictures of all of the lovely animals.
