Station Square Offers it All
The best place to visit is one like Station Square, where you can find almost everything in one stop. Whether you're looking for entertainment, shopping, dining or sightseeing, Station Square is just the place to serve you. Station Square is located next to the river and also near the Fountain at Bessemer Court.
The restored railroad building houses the Freight House Shops where you can shop at over 20 unique stores. Here you'll find souvenirs from Pittsburgh, wine, cigars, toys, clothing and much more. Take the kids for a ride on the Station Square Express train and enjoy the trip as it takes you for a ride around the Freight House Shops. The Station Square Express departs from in front of the Crossing Court Food Court.
Station Square is also the home of the Chevrolet Amphitheater where you can enjoy popular musical concerts, food and music festivals as well as a wide selection of special events. If this isn't enough to keep you busy, take a ride on the Gateway Clipper Fleet of riverboats and tour the three rivers.
If you're interested in something a little more subdued, take a Horse and Carriage Ride around Station Square and experience life before the automobiles. Another tour available is the Just Ducky Tours that leave from Station Square. These tours offer a trip through Pittsburgh in a vintage World War II vehicle that is capable of going from land to water.
