There is a self-guided garden tour that is very popular with many of the visitors. You may even enjoy the self-guided Civil War grounds tour that they offer. If you are looking for a guided tour, there are two guided historic house tours available as well. No matter which one you choose, you are in for a world of unique and interesting learning experiences during your visit.
Hours that you may stop by for an interesting visit at the Travellers Rest Plantation and Museum are from 10:00 am until 4:00 pm Monday through Saturday and 1:00 pm until 4:00 pm on Sunday. Travellers Rest is open daily throughout the year with the only closings being on all of the major national holidays.
The cost for admission at Travellers Rest is really affordable as well. Admission is only $10 for adults, $8 for seniors, $4 for kids ages 6 through 12, and free for kids under the age of six. You will also find that there are group rates offered as well as certain discounts to members.
