World of Wonders At Rock City
There is a world of wonders waiting for you just a couple of miles from Chattanooga, Tennessee. It is called Rock City and it is one of the most gorgeous natural attractions in all of the United States. It is a perfect place to visit with your friends, family or that special someone.
At this amazing place there is an area called Lover's Leap where you can actually see seven states all at one time. Feast your eyes on the states of Tennessee, Georgia, Alabama, North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia and Kentucky. Be sure that you have your camera ready because this is a once in a lifetime experience!
If you are one who likes to get out and experience nature, then this is really the place for you. You can walk along the 4100-foot trail amidst all of the natural botanical and geological wonders that Rock City has to offer. Snap a couple of pictures once you come upon the stunning 90-foot waterfall. The children always enjoy checking out Fairyland Caverns, Mother Goose Village and Fat Man's Squeeze.
The hours of operation at Rock City tend to vary depending on the time of year. The times generally range from about 8:30 am until 6:00 pm. Cost of admission is $35 for adults, $18.50 for children and free for ages 2 and under. This price includes admission for all of the attractions including Rock City, Ruby Falls and Incline Railway. For your convenience, there are also several food stops and gift shops along the trail.
