A bus tour through The Catskill Mountains
The Catskill Mountains are located about 100 miles from New York City. There are six counties that surround the beautiful mountain range. This area offers a scenic, historical view of New York State.
In the 1950's and 60's, Catskill was a main tourist attraction for the wealthy. Luxury Hotels appealed to the celebrities, bring in wealth and fame. By the late 1970's the tourism had peaked and by the 90's, residents of Catskill had accepted the idea that the tourism was over. Some businesses remain closed still today, but slowly the Catskill region is seeing a rebirth. NY State Legislature has approved 5 casinos to open in the year 2007. Construction is starting and storefronts are starting to be renovated. Americans will soon have another wonderful place to vacation without leaving our country.

There are several locations that offer this event and volunteers are available for identifying the different types of Eagles.
