Charter a Bus in Detroit, Michigan for Your Trip

Animal lovers should proceed to the Detroit Zoo by the charter bus. Here one can find animals in the closest thing to their natural habitats. Here, encompassed in over 50 acres is their triple water slide, bumper boats, speed slide and golf courses for golf lovers.

Belle Isle is a place worth visiting in Detroit. This island in the city is a beautiful place to enjoy a picnic lunch while savoring the fine view of the sunset or Detroit skyline! In addition to this, there's an aquarium, the Dossin Great Lakes Museum and numerous historical buildings.

Get off your bus and on Detroit's downtown people mover - Detroit's own unmanned, computer-operated elevated rail transportation. This is a 2.9 mile route boasting of 13 stations. Don't forget to stop by the once largest office building of the world, the headquarters of General Motors. Most of its car exhibits have been moved to the Renaissance Center, but there is still a 1919 Cadillac on display. Another regal structure to be visited is the Fox Theatre. This place used to house live theatrical performances and moving pictures in the 1920s. Now it's a venue for all types of live performances.

Give a punch to the trip by going to "The Fist" which is the impressive forearm of Joe Louis encapsulated in blackened bronze and punching into the Detroit River. There is also a 26-foot tall sculpture of the Spirit of Detroit in downtown Detroit. This is the spirit of Detroit!
The Michigan Soldiers' and Sailors' Monument Association was erected in 1865 in honor of the sailors and soldiers who had lost their lives in the Civil War. The 450-seat Gem Theatre is a 5.5 million pound structure which is the largest structure to be moved five blocks on wheels! Fisher Building houses more than 40 types of exotic marbles on the walls, floors and ceilings of the building. This building houses shops, cafes, offices and the Fisher Theater.

There are various museums for one to move on to in the comfort of the charter bus. The Motown Historical Museum tells the story of Motown's impact on 20th century music and culture. The Detroit Historical Museum concentrates mainly on Detroit's heyday with exhibits.
The intellectual tourists shouldn't miss a visit to the New Detroit Science Center. One gets to explore a rain forest and see air hover cars and anti-gravity devices. The Cranbrook Institute of Science boasts of a giant T.Rex skeleton, planetarium and other activities related to Science for the tourist. A haven for astrology buffs is the four-story Digital Dome Planetarium which sets the stage for star shows and laser displays on a 3.5 story screen. One can go down memory lane in the Henry Ford Museum which exhibits furniture dating back to 1670. There's even the chair President Lincoln was assassinated in!

Outdoor buffs, no fear. Move on for fun and adventure at the various recreation areas in Detroit. Bald Mountain recreation area has 11 lakes and 2 trout streams with tons of open space for hiking, biking and picnics. Those who plan to go camping should head for Brighton recreation area which has the best mountain biking and equestrian trails in Michigan. There are campgrounds, beaches and hiking trails to spend outdoor time in. Hunting is allowed, but not in summer. Get on the phone and book a charter bus to Detroit now!
