The next time you plan a holiday, plan one with a group of friends to the magnificent Grand. You can charter a bus from the various buses the bus companies provide, and visit the Grand Rapids in the cool comfort of an A/C bus, traveling at your speed and convenience!

The Grand Rapids got its name from the rapids of the Grand River, the large inland river of Michigan. This place has a rich history, intertwined with its spectacular and natural geography. The Grand Rapids boasts of dense pine forests, which makes The place suitable for the manufacture of fine furniture, thus becoming the "Furniture Capital" of the nation.

Grand Rapids today has over one million residents living in the four county metropolitan areas. It is not surprising, what with its rich and recreational lifestyle options available here! There are various clean lakes and streams for one to go fishing, arts and culture stops, fine restaurants, beaches, forests, entertainment spots and of course, places for shopping! All this can be visited by a charter bus.

Those who love history should hop on the charter bus and make a visit to the museum dedicated to its native son Gerald R.Ford, who was the 38th U.S. President. Here there are interactive exhibits which take you to the White House and the 1976 Republican National Convention. Next is the 1908 prairie-style house, called Meyer May House in the city's Heritage Hill district which was designed by Frank Lloyd Wright.

The next part of the trip will be the Grand Rapids Driving Tour of Heritage Hill, which will be shown by the charter bus driver. This tour goes down a four-mile driving tour of the place through its 40-block hillside neighborhood. Heritage Hill boasts of representing over 60 architectural styles of homes.

The largest apple-producing county of Michigan can be found in Kent County. It's also a major producer of peaches, carrots, onions, wheat, celery and the good ol' Christmas tree! Fall color is found at practically every bend of the road! Hop on the bus and on the way; discover the many pumpkin patches and local U-pick orchards to get a real taste of the harvest season in Michigan.

Joseph Kinnebrew IV designed the Grand River Sculpture and Fish Ladder found here. During fall, one can find spectators watching coho salmon battling amongst themselves to go upstream to spawn. In the spring and summer, fishermen brave the currents of the Grand River for their share of the river's bounty.

Frederik Meijer Gardens is the state's largest tropical conservatory. Sit in the luxury of the bus to reach here for on entering here, one walks through a magical wonderland of gardens, woodlands and over 100 bronze statues done by famous artists. One of the famous statues here is the 24-foot bronze horse which was designed by Leonardo da Vinci.

In the Grand Rapids, children are not forgotten. There is the Grand Rapids Children's Museum situated here where children can direct their own learning in this hands-on museum which boasts of changing and permanent exhibits. They learn to play with bubbles, the magic of mirrors, and study a live beehive, amongst other activities.

The outdoor freaks can hop on the charter bus to enjoy themselves at the sandy beaches of Lake Michigan. This is situated just half-hour from Grand Rapids proper. Grand Rapids boasts of having more privately owned, daily-fee public golf courses than any other U.S. city. So golf lovers, hop aboard!

And after all this touring and activities, how does a cold beer at the Hair of the Frog Brewery or Grand Rapids Brewing Company sound? Beer is made on site at the Grand Rapids Brewing Company, with good food. The Hair of the Frog Brewery boasts of a wide selection of beers and homemade wines for one to choose from, with food, and on weekends, live music.
