The Air and Military Museum of the Ozarks
The Air and Military Museum of the Ozarks offers something for travelers to Springfield, Missouri to truly enjoy. The museum was created in 1989 and at the time there was only one showcase. Now, there are over 5,000 pieces of the history of the military. There are vintage aircraft shows at the Springfield/Branson Regional Airport. The military equipment is restored. The Museum School gives programs of history and science for students.

Another museum that is offered by Springfield Missouri is the Springfield Museum of Art. There are seven galleries here, two of which are continually changing exhibits. These exhibitions deal with both historical and contemporary pieces.

The Wonders of Wildlife offers two levels of wildlife achievement. On the upper level there is the Heroes of Conservation, Predators: Life on Top, Be a Beaver, Curational Diet Preparation, The Geology Wall, Bobcat Habitat, the Ozark Hills, Walk in the Woods, Hooves, Horns, Hide and Hair and finally Why I Hunt. The bottom level offers Shells, Scales, Fangs, and Tails, Tall Tales Camp, Tumbling Creek Cave, Riverwalk, Community Pool Underwater Perspective, Ozarks Fishing, Go Fish, Out-to-Sea, and Tropical Coasts.
