New York City Charter Bus

Now here is a fun destination for your next charter bus excursion, New York City.

First stop for your charter bus excursion should be Times Square. You've all seen it on television at one time or another, now is the time to see it up close and personal. Times Square was named after the NY Times which moved there in 1924.

This is a vibrant, neon-lit, non-stop bastion of activity. Once it was overrun by peep shows and a seedier environment. In recent years, Times Square has undergone a complete image overhaul and many big names have moved in, including Disney.

Central Park is another must see on your charter bus trip. Right smack in the heart of Manhattan is Central Park. It was created in 1857 as a serene place to escape city life. These days walkers, rollerbladers, bikers and joggers as you stroll leisurely through the park.

Check out romantic Bethseda Fountain at the Bethseda Terrace. And if you look north, you can see Belvedere Castle. Across the street is the famous Dakota building. Mick Jagger and John Lennon to name a few lived in this great old building and frequently walked in this park. This park will enthrall every member of your charter bus group with its beauty and history.

No charter bus journey would be complete without a stop by the The Statue of Liberty. She is back and better than ever after extensive renovation. As a representative of freedom to the world, She stands bright and tall in New York Harbor. Tours are open 8:30AM-5:30PM daily.

Some never fail choices are Del Frisco's Double Eagle Steak House, Junior's Restaurant for a more casual dining experience, all your charter bus group's old favorites are here, Carmine's is known for its fine Italian fare, if Asian is your palate's taste try Roy's New York, you will even find South American cuisine represented here in the form of Cafe Habana.

See history in abundance with your charter bus gang at the Metropolitan Museum of Art. Be prepared to spend a couple of hours in this facility. It's an awesome experience. It has more than 1.5 million square feet of exhibition space and its exhibits, in particular the Egyptian exhibit are second to none. Be sure to make a pilgrimage to the museum gift soft and pick up some mementos to remember your charter bus excursion.
