San Angelo Texas Charter Bus Tour

San Angelo Texas Charter Bus Tour

Welcome to San Angelo charter bus tour. San Angelo is the shining star of Texas!
San Angelo is the place to be for heritage trails which link the past and future from modern shops to vintage landmarks. Concho Avenue is full of charm and with your charter bus tour, you will enjoy country collectibles (my favorite) to wonderful memorabilia.

The Concho Pearl, in San Angelo, have been found in the natural waterways of West Texas for at least 400 years. 400 years! I bet the folks on your charter bus tour would never have thought of finding pearls in San Angelo!

If you are into the wonderful invention called the telephone(another one of my favorite things). Take your charter bus group to the E.H. Danner Museum, former General Telephone Co. president, this museum exhibits more than 100 antique telephone displays, original telephone directories dating back to the 1800s and an authentic switchboard from 1910. You also can see one of Alexander Graham Bell's original telephones.

Fort Concho is the reason that San Angelo exists today. Founded in 1867 as a frontier outpost to protect early West Texas settlers, Fort Concho in San Angelo, is how the city became the city of San Angelo today. Charter a stop in your bus and tour the Fort which is the primary landmark of San Angelo.

On occasion, they have tours and live demonstrations which take you back in time. The museum, along with the charter bus tour in San Angelo, is open from 10 AM. to 5 PM. Tuesday through Saturday and from 1 to 5 PM Sunday. Admission is $2, adults; $1.50, military and senior citizens; and $1.25, students.

If trains are your charter bus group's thing, take your charter bus troop to The Railway Museum of San Angelo. Located in the restored Historic 1910 Orient-Santa Fe Depot at 703 South Chadbourne, the Railway Museum of San Angelo displays railroad artifacts and memorabilia, including a permanent model train layout depicting San Angelo in 1928 when both the Santa Fe and the Kansas City, Mexico and orient railroads were in operation in the city.

This is fascinating history for not only the railroad buff, but anyone with interest in our Nation's history.

So, if you're looking for a new destination to take your group for your next charter bus trip, look no further than San Angelo!
