Waco Charter Bus

Waco Charter Bus

So, you're thinking of taking a charter bus excursion? You can't do better than Waco.

Charter a stop at the C-Bar Stables. Take your charter bus gang horseback riding. This is a great way to spend some leisurely time just enjoying the surrounding area of Waco and see it via horseback.

Next, since your charter bus gang just saw horses, go see some more animals at the Cameron Park Zoo. This is a unique zoo complex as many species happily co-exist together in their natural habitats. Some featured exhibits your charter bus group will see include vultures, African lions, White Handed Gibbons, a herpetarium, Sumatran tigers, giraffes and the co-inhabitants of their natural native region, elephants, lemurs, Texas barnyard animals, and much more.

Dr Pepper Museum is an off the beaten path stop your charter bus group will enjoy. In 1885, a young pharmacist, Charles Alderton, concocted a soda fountain drink. The drink, originally known as a "Waco," was later given the enigmatic name "Dr Pepper;" a name that has retained its mystery, as the origin of this name has never been discovered.

As the drink grew in popularity, it became the first major soft drink in America. This museum has some of the earliest labeling and bottled attempts, your charter bus group will find it interesting to see the evolution of the product from then til now.

Mayborn Museum Complex incorporates the former Ollie Mae Moen Discovery Center, the Strecker Museum and the Gov. Bill and Vara Daniel Historic Village. This Complex brings together in one location the resources of hands-on discovery, history exhibits and galleries. Your charter bus group will enjoy seeing all these sights in just one location.

If golf is on your charter bus group's agenda, stop by Cottonwood Creek Golf Course and play a round!

A couple of great places to eat in Waco are Bari's for some great Italian food and Ninfa's has fantastic Mexican fare. Try the hot pickled carrots as an appetizer. Also, the Northwood Inn has down home American style food to fit every taste, and no matter where you eat, be sure to order a Dr. Pepper.

Come see Waco soon, book your charter bus destination today.
