Universal Studios has gone all out on this ride. Your kids will definitely want to ride this one, so you should know beforehand that minimum height is 46". The seats are wide and you can site 4-5 across. The ride starts out with a peaceful float through a dinosaur theme park. You will see various kinds of friendly dinosaurs and scenes of animatronic dinosaurs eating and roaring.
The waves around your boat grow increasingly bigger and a little more menacing. Then the lights blink, and you see the fences come down. The little dinosaur that spit in the eyes of the guy that tried to originally steal the dinosaur DNA and leave the park shows up and menaces your raft but you get away just in the nick of time.
Then a car plunges over a cliffside right beside your raft, you are guaranteed to jump out of your skin when that one happens.
The lights go dark and you hear the menacing walk of a T-Rex but you can't tell from which direction it is coming, suddenly directly over your raft a 50ft tall T-Rex is snarling and roaring, I guarantee you'll forget just for a moment this is just a ride!
Next you are taken to a cave where you are suddenly dropped 84 ft straight down into a splashing stop at the finish of this ride. If you have keys or a cell phone make sure you bring a plastic bag to put them in and place them deep in your pockets.
This is an amazing ride that will take you into the very movie, "Jurassic Park". Most people can't just enjoy one ride on this extravaganza. This is a double take adventure at the very least.
