Queens Museum of Art
The Queens Museum of Art is determined to engage the public and encourage visitors to experience art in a comfortable environment suitable for everyone. The program Art Zone! is how the museum accomplishes this. Here visitors have access to hands-on resources that explain the exhibits on display and give information about the artists. This program is child-friendly and is free with museum admission.
Sundays from 1:30-4:30 the museum offers a drop-in art workshop. The fee is $3.00 for materials. This is designed to be a creative outlet for developing basic art skills.
There are many exhibits that are famous at the Queens Museum of Art. One of these exhibits is called Tiffany: The Glass from Neustadt Collection of Tiffany Art.
