Now this is a fun afternoon. There is a huge variety of things to see and do on your walk through the Universal Studios area.
This area connects to all the Universal City attractions. The walk opened in 1993 and is an open-air street featuring retail stores and specialty shops, you can take in a movie if you're in the mood, there are a number of themed bars and restaurants that will suit everyone on your tour.
The hours of operation are 11am-10pm Sun-Thu; 11am-midnight Fri-Sat; Restaurants/clubs may stay open later.
Another fun feature is that the Universal City Walk connects to all the other attractions from one place. You can go to a movie, double back and go have a great meal in a restaurant or if the kids aren't along for the ride, you can stop by one of the many bars and have a drink.
B.B. King's Blues Club is a fun stop that has a huge selection of RandB, dance, and world beat artists, as well as national touring acts that play this venue.
Gibson Amphitheatre is one of the best live performance venues in the world.
Big name acts such as James Taylor, Nine Inch Nails, Juan Gabriel, Bette Midler, Keith Sweat, Beck, Wynonna and Kenny G. have all played this stage.
Hard Rock Cafe is a great place to grab a great all American meal with a great big side of rock-n-roll.
Howl at the Moon is a singing, clapping, stomping good time to be had by all. There is audience interaction around two dueling baby grand pianos. This is a great spot to celebrate a birthday party, anniversary, or any other group get together!
