Kohl Children's Museum
Kohl Children's Museum
If you're visiting Chicago in the near future, make the Kohl Children's Museum a stop along the way. There is a lot to keep not only the younger set busy and entertained but the big kids at heart will enjoy this venue too.
The Museum wanted to create a place where children, especially underprivileged children, could learn in a fun, hands-on, and educational environment. Diversity of people, places and things is celebrated at this museum and its success in reaching so many children and enriching young lives speaks for itself.
The Kohl Children's Museum was founded on the belief that young children learn best through play and then they took it a step further and developed a good number of exhibits that have creative, interactive play that involves children and adults, so they can learn together and it also develops good relationships. Furthermore, all of this was developed in an environment that is both fun and challenging to children.
Hours of operation at Monday 9:30 a.m. - 12 p.m.;9:30 a.m. - 5 p.m. (June-August)
Tuesday-Saturday 9:30 a.m. - 5 p.m.; Sunday 12-5 p.m. and Members Only 9-9:30 a.m.
