The lush foliage of this natural setting adds to the overall enjoyment of everyone who visits Dinosaur World. There are many different ways to enjoy the park like setting. From displays of scientifically accurate models, to a visit to the Boneyard. The Boneyard is where Children of all ages can dig for fossils and let there imaginations wander; What might it be like to discover a rare species, never before seen by man?
Perhaps you would rather visit the caves and view a video on how the dinosaurs are made, view exhibits or have a subterranean picnic. Even if you just stroll through the park you will have an opportunity to see the dinosaurs in many different settings all arranged chronologically. The natural vegetation that exists throughout the park only adds to the "Dinosaur Mystique".
A great deal of time and effort has gone into the setting of the park. Many of the plants used to create the natural beauty of the park do date back to the time of the dinosaurs. One example is the gingko biloba, a tree size plant sometimes called maidenhair. This tree like plant managed to survive what ever it was the killed the dinosaurs and thrives in our world today.
At Dinosaur World you will find outdoor classrooms, a video theater, museum and gift shop where you can purchase actual fossils. Open everyday of the week from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. you can even bring your dog as long as he or she is on a leash.
Admission is $9.75 for adults, $8.95 for seniors (over 60) and $7.75 for children age 3-12. Children age 2 and under are free.
