The Enzian Theater is a not for profit, full time theater that offers alternative first run films and small independent films. All shown on their 33 foot screen.
The Enzian goes beyond the Cinema Cafe concept. This theater offers a wide menu of dinner choices, along with snacks, and finger foods in an elegant setting. With seating for 250, on four tears, there is never a bad seat.
One of the highlights of the Enzian Theater is the Florida Film Festival, held for 10 days each March. The list of past attendees reads like a whose, who in Hollywood. Celebrities such as Oliver Stone, Dennis Hopper, Campbell Scott, and William H. Macy to name a few. Have lent their names and their time to this wonderful celebration of Americas love of film. Patrons of the film festival are able to view documentary features, shorts, animation and a wide variety of educational forums. Of course no film festival would be complete with out the glamorous get together's that also take place.
Meals at the Enzian run the gambit, from salads and appetizers to Pan-seared beef tenderloins in Dijon horseradish sauce, to a simple cheese pizza. A full selection of wine, bottled beer and draft beer along with non-alcoholic beverages is available. Lets not forget desserts, made fresh each day, straight from Bruno's Gourmet Kitchen. You may want to try the Ruby Cake, or maybe the chocolate Mousse cake.
