The Atlantic City Art Center and Historical Museum on Garden Pier at the Boardwalk has three art galleries. Get a very personal and in depth look into Atlantics City history through more than 1,000 items that bring to life the city's history through photographs of past hotels and nightclubs, gowns and crowns of past Miss Americas, and exhibits on African-American history. There are three exhibition galleries which change monthly and bi-monthly displaying artwork by contemporary artists of national renown and also work of local and regional artists of distinction.
The Art Center presents a wide variety of activities including concerts, guess speakers, artist demonstrations and literary readings. The gallery shop offers unique items for sale and features handmade glass from Wheaton Village in Millville, New Jersey
