Through many volunteer hours since the museum opening in 1981, and with the help of the wonderful members of the community, this museum can offer its many events and exhibits to the public.
Some of the great exhibits that have graced the museum are the 40th Anniversary of GI Joe, Celebrations of International Holidays, a Celebration of Barbie and her 40th year and many, many more. The special exhibits change regularly at the museum and some of the things you can learn about during your visit are history, fashion, design, folklore and much, much more.
Hours of operation for the Denver Museum of Miniatures, Dolls and Toys are Tuesday through Saturday from 10:00am to 4:00pm and Sundays from 1:00pm to 4:00pm. The museum is closed on Mondays as well as all of the major holidays. You can even schedule events at the museum such as birthday parties, scout activities and educational workshops. There is literally something for everyone.
The gift shop located on the premises is just chocked full of many unique items. Here you can find that one of a kind gift for that special someone. The shop carries dollhouses, miniatures and toys. Cost of admission at the museum is very affordable. The cost for adults is $5, Senior Citizens and Children ages 5-16 is only $4, and it is free to get in for members and Children under 5.
