Welcome to the Golden Triangle Arts District a must see area located on the south end of the downtown Denver Area. The Golden Triangle hosts many of Denver's most prominent cultural attractions such as The Denver Art Museum, Colorado History Museum, Denver Mint and City Center Park,Colorado Ballet, Acoma Center just to name a few.
The multicultural neighborhood, just minutes from downtown Denver has the highest concentration of art galleries in all of Denver these galleries are dedicated to providing public awareness to this unique and diverse cultural district. The Golden Triangles unique personality makes it a natural center for Denver's arts and culture. There are over fifty art galleries, studios, specialty shops and fine restaurants located here.
The first Friday art tour is the Golden Triangle Arts District premier monthly event for art lovers and tourists. Every first Friday of the month, from 5- 9 P.M. The FREE art bus takes passengers to neighborhood gallery openings, participating art museums, and art studios. The Art Bus shuttles between exhibits, making rounds every twenty minutes and offering rides around the Arts district, for FREE! These first Friday events are a perfect opportunity to take advantage of all The Golden Triangle has to offer, first Friday Specials, fun restaurants and interesting sites.
Long known as a hotspot for artists and galleries is once again becoming a more residential area. The Golden Triangle District was once a residential neighborhood throughout the 50s 60s and 70s then service businesses and parking lots took over. Now that's all changing and is once more becoming a thriving residential location as well as a renowned cultural area.
