The Sandcastle Baseball Stadium is the home of the Atlantic City Surf Baseball team it has become one of the biggest attractions in Atlantic City. It was built with the thought that it would be the jewel of the AL, the ever-growing Atlantic League of Professional Baseball Clubs which began play in 1998.
Now its one the most recognizable attractions in the area was specifically and carefully built with the suns orientation in mind, players and the fans don't have to squint in the sun ! The Surf baseball team plays their home games in this 5,900-seat minor league baseball stadium. The Sandcastle's field and seating bowl offers wonderful views of the Atlantic City skyline a dramatic site after dark you can see all the spectacular lights of the casinos and boardwalk.
To access the Sandcastle Stadium you must go up a flight of stairs to the open concourse that which is situated on top of the seating bowl. Guest amenities include numerous concession stands and a gift store, and they are situated along a wide concourse. Luxury VIP boxes are available they overlook the playing field at the top of the seating bowl. The seating is divided into two sections - a box seat and reserved section split by a narrow center concourse. The box seat sections are quite narrow (only 8-10 seats wide) and comfortable.
