There are some smaller permanent exhibitions, including the art of Dr. Suess that will lighten the hearts of both young and old when you get to see it up close and personal. There are a number of regional and local up and coming artists that regularly show in this venue. Take a look around, you might be viewing the next Picasso or Rembrandt!
The Museum has a small gift shop available where you can pick up some soveniers to remember your excursion to the Austin Museum of Art. The Austin Museum of Art, Downtown is a great way to spend an afternoon viewing art and learning about local artists that you just might be viewing on a national level in the future!
