Fun At The Nashville Zoo
Anybody who visits the Nashville Zoo is totally taken by the amount of wonderful animal species that they find. There are so many different types of animals that are all really fun and interesting to learn about. You will find many mammals, birds, reptiles and more. Kids and adults alike enjoy visiting such a great place where they can learn all about the animals that they see.
At the Nashville Zoo there is even a petting area called Critter Encounters that is just right for all of the little visitors. There are always different and exciting shows featuring some of the animals that live at the zoo. See the Hyacinth Macaw and Meerkat and Bongo exhibits while you visit. Be sure to stop by the Safari Gift Shop during your visit as well because no trip to the zoo would be complete without a great souvenir or two!
You can stop by and visit the Nashville any day of the week with the exception of all of the major national holidays. From time to time, problematic weather conditions may also prompt a closing.
Hours of operation vary depending on the season as follows:
April 1st through October 31st hours are from 9:00 am until 6:00 pm, and from November 1st until March 31st the hours are from 9:00 am until 4:00 pm. Admission prices vary due to season as well with pricing ranging from $6 up to $11 for children to adults with kids under three getting in free.
