This facility has been converted into a world class, state-of-the-art entertainment facility situated directly in downtown San Antonio.
In 1902 the humble City of San Antonio was just blossoming into an economic center and Sunset Station was built as a depot for the original Sunset Limited train that connected San Francisco to both New Orleans and San Antonio.
To return the station to its original grandeur the venue has undergone a multi-million dollar revitalization and transformation into the unique shopping, dining and entertainment venue that it is today.
Within the Sunset Station Historic Entertainment District you will find a variety of dining options including Texas Barbecue (a must have on any visit to the Lone Star State) and authentic Mexican cuisine. Having been recently voted San Antonio's best live music venue, the complex also hosts four separate entertainment areas: Sunset Saloon, Lone Star Pavilion, Club Agave and Studio 794.
Sunset Saloon, featuring "down-home" Texas music is considered to be the "Crown Jewel" of Sunset Station is a lavishly decorated affair with stained glass windows, gilded ceilings, a grand staircase and three oak bars to quench your thirst at.
Lone Star Pavilion is San Antonio's largest covered amphitheater and Sunset Station's area which covers 12,000-feet.
