This cool Nashville destination has interactive games for you to enjoy, college football and basketball exhibits that highlight a number of successful sports careers, two 30-seat theaters with sports videos, and so much more.
This Hall of Fame was founded by a group known as the Middle Tennessee Sportswriters and Broadcasters Association in 1966. Their first banquet raised a whopping total of 300.00 and they were on their way to creating one of the best known Sports Hall of Fame Museums in the country. It wasn't until 1994 that the Tennessee State Legislature passed the necessary legislation in 1994 to officially create the Tennessee Sports Hall of Fame.
Both male and female atheletes are recognized for their outstanding acheivements and contributions to sports at the Hall of Fame. Approximately ten new inductees are honored each year. There are hundreds of athletes to learn about here.
Regular admission is must $3 per person. There are great discounts if your group has ten or more persons. The admission is only $2 per person. Seniors and Children are only $2.
There is a small gift shop where you can pick up a memento of your visit to the Tennessee Sports Hall of Fame or buy a little something for someone back home.
