The Rienzi Museum was formerly owned by the Masterson family and is now actually a part of the Museum of Fine Arts Houston. The mansion was designed back in the 1950s by an architect named John F. Staub. This talented architect was also responsible for designing Bayou Bend and other various wonderful structures.
The Rienzi Mansion opened for public viewing back in 1999, and since then has been the delight of all who stop by to catch a glimpse of one of the most handsome properties in all of Houston. Behind the majestic doors, you will find a lovely collection of fine English ceramics as well as a large collection of fine Continental porcelain. It is said that any person who is lucky enough to pass through the doors of the mansion will be suddenly struck with delight at all of the visual wonders they will come to behold.
The stunning mansion is located at 1406 Kirby Drive in Houston, Texas. It is open for viewing Mondays and Thursday through Saturday from 10:00 am until 4:00 pm and Sundays from 1:00 pm until 4:00 pm.
