This is a great place to see that was built up by the Harding family to become a plantation of 5,400 acres of splendor along with a thoroughbred horse farm. In about 1953, the Belle Meade Mansion and some of its surrounding buildings were handed over to the Association for the Preservation of Tennessee Antiquities.
For you convenience, you will find brochures regarding the Plantation and its buildings in several languages including French, Japanese, German and Spanish. The grounds and the first floor of the mansion are fully handicapped accessible.
