Visiting The Grand Ole Opry Museum

Anyone who is visiting the Nashville area simply must stop by the Grand Ole Opry Museum to get a glimpse of all that is country music history. This is a must for any true country music fan as well as the person who is interested in seeing some great music memorabilia. You will find many great exhibits and items on display that are sure to peak your interests.

While you are at the Grand Ole Opry Museum you will be delighted to see many exhibits honoring country music legends such as Marty Robbins, George Jones, Minnie Pearl, Patsy Cline and Tex Ritter. That is just a short list of the wonderful artists that you may learn about at the museum. You will also find several interesting displays from all of the recent stars in country music history such as Garth Brooks, Tanya Tucker and Faith Hill. Many of the items on display are actually interactive so that you can learn about the history while also being entertained with music and video.

There is also a Grand Ole Opry gift shop where you can get a little something to remember your visit or buy something for someone back home that didn't get to come on this visit. There are a myriad of small items from banjo brooches to hats and t-shirts and statues. You will find the perfect souvenir or gift!

Anyone who stops by the Grand Ole Opry House is encouraged to stop by the Museum as well for a special added treat. Admission to the Grand Ole Opry Museum is free for all patrons. Hours that you may stop by are Monday through Thursday from 10:00 am until 5:00 pm, Friday from 10:00 am until 8:00 pm, Saturday from 10:00 am until 10:00 pm and Sunday from 11:00 am until 4:00 pm. Seeing the sights and exhibits at this museum could be fun for your entire family
