If you're feeling brave enough to check out a scary walking tour, then the Ghost and Dungeon Walking Tour in Charleston is the one for you. You be led by a licensed tour guide for an hour and a half on a walking tour through the darkest edges of Charleston's "Haunted Historic District." You'll cover about 3/4 mile and although it's a distance, there are frequent stops along the way and won't be too strenuous for anyone. The very well trained guides will have you learn about some fun and some very chilling tales of Charleston ghosts, voodoo, haunted houses and superstitions. This tour is the only one that has access to the dungeon! You and your friends can go nightly, rain or shine from 7-9pm. Children are allowed because the tour is family oriented, but are cautioned because the tour can be too scary for young children...and some adults!

It's a great idea to bring your video cameras and still/digital cameras because they "highly recommend" taking pictures during the tour.
