Eide/Dalrymple Gallery
The Eide/Dalrymple Gallery is located at Augustana College in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. Primarily hosting sculptures and paintings, the Eide/Dalrymple Gallery is a showplace for students at Augustana College and regional artists.
At the Eide/Dalrymple Gallery, you will find an exquisite display of works from local and regional artists. When each exhibit is opened, there is a public reception held to allow visitors to discuss the exhibit with the featured artist. Shelley Fuller, Judale Carr, and Nathan Holman are just a few of the artists whose work is featured at the Eide/Dalrymple Gallery.
The Eide/Dalrymple Gallery encourages students to learn about various aspects of art and life, including different cultures. During each academic year an ethnographic exhibit is displayed with works on loan from different museums. When classes are in session, you can see a variety of students' artwork on display including the Augustana Senior Art Show which takes place from the end of April through Commencement in May. There is also an annual faculty exhibit that is presented the month before the Senior Art Show. In addition to enriching the lives of Augustana College's students, a high school invitational is held from the end of February until mid-March to allow prospective students the opportunity to explore the art department.
The Eide/Dalrymple Gallery is also home to the most important collection, between Omaha and Minneapolis, of original prints from Europe and America.
Admission to the Eide Dalrymple Gallery is free. Gallery hours are Tuesday through Sunday from 12p.m. to 5p.m.
